Remember the T:SCC soundtrack we’ve been talking about for a few weeks on SkyNext? Turns out after we recorded Chronicle 20, Amazon.com changed their listing from a November 18th release til December 2nd.
If you had pre-ordered thru SkyNext and/or Amazon already, you should have gotten an email notifying you of this, and if you haven’t already pre-ordered the CD, why not!? It’s going to be an amazing set full of instrumental pieces from the first and second season of the show, including Shirley Manson’s rendition of “Samson and Delilah” from the second season premiere. The price has dropped from $18.99 to $13.99 and if you go ahead and pre-order, you’ll be locked in at that advance price just in case it were to go up.
Also, composer Bear McCreary had this to say about the release and it’s postponement:
“… I want to address the upcoming Sarah Connor soundtrack album. I know a lot of you are asking about it, and I apologize for the lack of information. The record label and I did everything in our power to prepare the album for an October release. But, the album is currently tied up in the bureaucratic red tape that makes the entertainment business occasionally maddening. But, I promise it will come out. We’re looking at a mid-December release, before the holiday. I’ll post the official track list in the next week or so. And I can also promise it will be worth the wait. All the best songs will be on there, now with the obvious exception of “La Llorona,” which will presumably be on a future release… “

Hey guys, if you’re one of our MP3 subscribers, you’re probably wondering what the heck that was you downloaded yesterday. For some reason our server decided to change file names on us so, of course, what you got was in NO way the 20th episode of SkyNext.
I’m working on rectifying this now and should have the actual episode up within the hour. However, the AAC is the correct file. Thanks for understanding!
Amazon.com has the order listing for the upcoming release of the Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles soundtrack that hits the streets on November 18th.
The one constant that Steve and I have always talked about on SkyNext is the perfect music used on the show and the amazing composition provided by Bear McCreary and his orchestra. A track list has yet to be released but so far we do know that Shirley Manson’s ‘Samson & Delilah’ from the season two premiere will be featured on the CD as well as songs from the series first season.
Hey Guys! Steve and I have been hard at work trying to rectify the lack of a new episode from last week.
Last Tuesday I found out my grandfather had to have emergency bypass surgery and I ran home to be near my family during that time last week. In doing that I was not aware of how long I would be out of town and this forced Steve to do the latest episode of SkyNext solo. Unfortunately I have to edit the show in order to have the AAC cards/screencaps to show up (thanks to Dane and Isaac) so even though the episode has been recorded I haven’t had a chance to get it together since I just got back into town. Rest assured the latest SkyNext for “The Tower is Tall But The Fall Is Short” will be released late Monday / early Tuesday or as soon as I’m able.
Thanks for understanding everyone, and thank you all for the kind words to me and my family on the forums, our twitter, and email! It’s all greatly appreciated!

Why the move?
We announced a while back that we wanted to merge our forums with our sister shows, Starkville’s House of El and the 10th Wonder. After much thought and planning we have purchased vBulletin, a forum script that is leaps and bounds better than our current forums. When we sat down to think about the logistics of merging our two huge forums it began to dawn on us that it wasn’t going to be likely that we’d be able to pull it off without major problems since several users have accounts on both forums, etc. We thought long and hard and came to the decision to start fresh at our new community and ask everyone to register new accounts.
We hope you all enjoy the new forums community, we’re certainly excited about merging our two communities, and creating a stronger and better community in the process. Thank you all for your patience, and support!
It’s been almost 6 months since the end of season one of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles but season two picks up tonight right where “What He Beheld” left off with episode 2×01 “Samson and Delilah”.
After the episode, head over to our forums to discuss what happened, what’s coming, and hit on the topics you want to hear most discussed on the newest episode of SkyNext!
We mentioned a while back that we wanted to do some fun community meet-ups in Xbox Live, and so I’m happy to announce that our first attempt will be this Sunday night September 7th. Graham and I will be playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare starting at around 8pm central with listeners and staff from the SkyNext, 10th Wonder, and House of El podcasts. Feel free to join up, chat and and play some rounds with us and fellow listeners. We’re looking forward to it!
Dragon*Conis quickly approaching and it’s time to find out who’s going to be there with us! If you know you’ll be at Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA this year:
Derek, Steve, and Graham will be on panels for Smallville, Heroes, and the Sarah Connor Chronicles respectively, and though we don’t have an official podcast panel this year, we’re going to be roaming around quite a bit and we’ll even plan another meet-up like we did in San Diego. Pizza and Wings anyone?
And we have a list of the Terminator panels you can find SkyNext @ here.
Dragon*Con is this Labor Day weekend, August 29th - September 1st, in Atlanta, Georgia. Hope to see you there!
The day has finally arrived! Our panel at Comic-Con is at 1pm (Pacific) 3pm (Eastern) in Room 24A. We’re looking forward to seeing lots of you there! We’re going to attempt (note the emphasis) to stream the video from our panel live to our front page via Ustream. I say attempt because the free WiFi at the convention center has been sketchy at best. We’ll give it a try, but in case it doesn’t work out–we’ll have the video on our feeds as soon as possible, probably later in the afternoon.
Our server had some errors when I was uploading in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, so if you got Chronicle 09 sometime before 11am central time, you might want to refresh your iTunes and download again, because you most likely downloaded Chronicle 08, even though it said Chronicle 09. If you downloaded after that point, all should be well and you have the correct episode. In some older instances of iTunes, you might have to unsubscribe to SkyNext and resubscribe to get the correct episode. Sorry for the trouble everyone, our server is nominal now and the episode is correct.
