Just in time for San Diego Comic Con we have exclusive t-shirts for SkyNext presence this year!
We’ve only got a limited number available to US residents only, so this is purely on a first come first serve basis and there’s a limit of two per order.
First thing you need to do is email mail@skynextpodcast.com with your name, address and what size shirt you need (we have small through xx-l). If you are contacted by us, you’ll receive further instructions for PayPal. If you don’t hear back it’s because we ran out of our already limited supply, and we’re sorry for that. But don’t worry, official SkyNext t-shirts will go on sale in August - these are just limited edition Comic Con ones!
Price is $30.00 including shipping and handling so go ahead and email mail@skynextpodcast.com with the subject line ‘CC T-Shirt’ to get yours!

Derek and Tucker have been working on a new comic book that will hopefully be releasing later this year, but unfortunately they’ve been left without an artist!
If you’re an aspiring artist or know someone who think might fit the bill, email us with your information and some samples of your work - you might be just what we’re looking for!

We’ve had a lot of emails and private messages on the forums about what the fate of SkyNext is going to be so I thought I’d clear up any misconceptions on whether we will be continuing the show or not. SkyNext is not ending anytime soon.
However, don’t expect it regularly either (did you ever?). With Terminator: Salvation now out, we’ve got two planned episodes for it coming, one this week and one probably the week after. Our AU hosts Jason and Robin did a recording for “Born to Run” with their thoughts which will be out in the month of June, as well as episodes for Terminator 1, 2, and 3 courtesy of Jason and the Flicks podcast that will be out late June.
As far as original SkyNext episodes, don’t expect much for a while other than our Salvation episodes, and at least one discussing the cancellation of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Several people from the show have asked to be on to give their thoughts on the end of the series, and that will happen soon as well - two of which being Brian Austin Green again, and Writer / Executive Producer Ash Miller. Late in the summer we’ll start talking about the DVD release, and then (hopefully) we will be doing episode commentaries from the season two DVD in the SkyNext feed for you to sync up and watch. (Steve and I were actually asked to do commentary for an episode on the season two DVD, but it didn’t pan out - so we’re just using SkyNext to release it instead.) Unfortunately, with the release of the DVD - that will probably be the end of SkyNext sometime in mid-September. I’m not even promising we will get that far as we will undoubtedly lose subscribers by the masses in the coming months but I appreciate all of you who still want us to continue. It’s a dead subject however, and sad as it is to say, the series is not returning on FOX or anywhere else it looks like. I think the fan campaigns have been great but everyone has begun to move on and I think it’s time we did too.
In saying that, I wouldn’t expect more than 5-7 SkyNext (original) episodes left, with the 3 Flicks podcast ones. We’ll tell you more when we know more. As it stands, keep listening, we’re going to keep talking.

FOX has released their upfronts for the 2009 Fall season, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is not listed. No official word yet that it has been “canceled” but keep checking here and our Twitter for updates as we know more. At this point, unless they were to bring it back in the spring, it looks like FOX has indeed cut the show.
*UPDATE*
Kevin Reilly of FOX confirms that “Terminator has completed its run.”
That pretty much takes away the hope of a Spring pickup. Unless season three comes to us in comic book form, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is over. It was a valiant effort on all the fans part to show their love and dedication, but FOX just decided to go another direction. Let’s hope in the coming days, they see the mistake they have made. Thank you all for your support through SkyNext over the past year and a half. Steve and I will be announcing our plans of what to do with the show soon.

Thought we’d check in since it’d been a couple of weeks! The biggest news is, of course, we are less than 24 hours away from the ‘yay’ or ‘nay’ on Sarah Connor Chronicle’s third season announcement. Will T:SCC and SkyNext be back in the fall with all new episodes? We’ll all find out tomorrow!
I got a chance to see Terminator: Salvation last night and it…was…epic. It seriously has not all sunk in yet because there was so much going on in the very short span of time. That is probably my biggest complaint: as quickly as the film started, it was over and you’re left waiting for Terminator 5. But that doesn’t make the film suffer it all; amazing script, incredible acting and visual effects you would not believe - I don’t see Transformers 2 topping this one this summer. Expect a full episode of SkyNext devoted to it after next weekend.
That will probably be SkyNext #35, look for Chronicle #34 in the next day or so, featuring our AU hosts Jason and Robin talking about the second season finale, “Born to Run”. (Blame me if it sounds dated, they recorded it weeks ago!) And SkyNext #28 should be working properly now, for those of you looking for it!
And lastly, a special treat for our SkyNext listeners; who wants a copy of Terminator Salvation’s prequel “From the Ashes” written by Timothy Zahn? You could be one of our three recipients to win a free copy! It’s easy: email mail@skynextpodcast.com with the subject line ‘FTA Contest’ and if your email address is one of the ones we pick, you win! So get to emailing, be ready to listen to SkyNext, go see Terminator: Salvation, and be prepared for the fate of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles!
