Thank you so much! It was awesome while it lasted. Can’t wait for the season two DVDs so I can re-watch and re-listen to SkyNext.

Thanks guy’s we love you and it’s definitely worth the wait. It will be sad to see you go. I hope to maybe hear more stuff from you guys later on, even if it’s just you guys b.s.’ing or whatever.

Whatever happens after this, it’s been awesome. You guys are great and thanks so much for what you have given us so far. Will be sad to see you go, if this is in fact the end of Skynext. Again though I definitely hope to hear more from you guys because you are great to listen to. Listening now.

Funny. That’s the first time I’ve heard fans of the show laugh when talking about the fact that the show was cancelled. Or the fact that fans are still campaigning for its return.

You wonder where these people were when the show was on? We were here. Watching the show. Loving the show. Loving it enough to want to keep fighting for it. We’re not professionals; we’re ordinary people, ordinary fans that love something enough to fight for it.

We’ve been here since March - which you will note is prior to the finale - working to get on our feet, to build fan momentum and do something for the show you obviously like enough to podcast about. Just because FOX announced cancellation doesn’t mean there isn’t hope for the future, and that’s what we’re about.

    Holy Sh**. 3 hours!!!!! EPIC!!!!!

I think it’s pretty well been stated now on twitter that everything we said regarding fan involvement in this episode was not mockery or meant insulting. We were simply having fun for our last episode as we said goodbye.

In our opinion the fan campaign to save the show has been wonderful and I think it’s truly inspiring to see so many people rallying behind a cause. That being said, we weren’t making fun of it. Hope everyone can see the humor in it and have a laugh instead of taking it personally, it certainly wasn’t meant that way at all.

hey Derek & Steve thanks for the almost 2 years of Skynext. When you started I was working, became unemployed, became re-employed and during that time and even currently writing fanfiction and for a recent chapter I went back and listened to an older podcast, I found myself laughing at & with you guys! You guys are awesome!

Jeez, I can hear the beer smell of your last (Last? We’ll see, weeee’ll see!) podcast up to over here in Germany… Still, damn good job on the talk with the ashman, guys!

  8. Daniel Pinter Says:

Thank you. I’ve enjoyed you podcast so much I’m re-downloading everything via iTunes.

  9. arthur1920 Says:

You guys can podcast again, when the Resistance gets Season 3 on the air.

  10. Charlie Untz Says:

okay so Derek & Steve now the real question is…Should we stay subscribed or not? I mean after all there still is a 5th and 6th Possible Terminator movie coming out that you guys have to review. I found your review of Salvation both fun and thought provoking

  11. tareq Says:

Couldn’t you guys just do a version of tangent, but with you and Steve? i mean, you guys going off topic is why i like this show. it would be dull without that. just talk about random stuff. it will be really great. i would listen anyway… just think about it. anyway, great last episode. bye skynext :’(

  12. Matt Says:

Thanks for the work and effort on the podcast :)

I think the intreview was solid though one irony I couldn’t help but LOL at.

in the Intreview ash and you are not supporters of Jameron.

but the varation of the Terminator Love Theme you played…

Was called Cameron’s lullaby, and the composer was using it as a Jameron love theme.

    LOL XD

just thought I would point that out.

I loved you guys (well not love, I liked you guys… as a friend)

    best to both.

Great last podcast, guys. Well, I hope it’s not the last. When I get the Season 2 DVD I plan to re-listen to your Season 2 podcasts. Did that after getting Season 1 and loved hearing you all over again. Left foot, right foot, left foot…

  14. fotd Says:

Greetings from your kiwi fan. wow great final show guys, but also a very sad show. I hope you can keep working together on other projects. You guys play off each other so well…

  15. swarm87 Says:

last one? so i take it that you arent doing a remastered salvation commentary for the directors cut?

  16. Capt. Queeg Says:

I’ll miss the Skynext podcast as much as I’ll miss T:TSCC, and that’s saying a lot. Thanks for an enjoyable two years, guys.

Great interview with Ash (although I wish someone had edited out a few hundred of his “Y’knows”). I think that and your earlier one with B.A.G. were two of the best Skynexts, and made up for the somehat inconsistent podcasts towards the end. No criticism of either of you… you have lives; the show was ending, people’s interests change, and so on. As I said, all-in-all an enjoyable run.

As you mentioned in the show, I’m keeping your feed live in my iTunes, and hope to find the occasional Skynext appearing at times… commentary on the Season 2 DVD would be great. Best of luck to you both.
